The Place of Faith in Attaining Success.
Faith is the chief chemist of the mind!
The Bible gives a simple but deep meaning of faith, being:
“The confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see.”Hebrews 11:1 NLT
Of course, that biblical definition of faith is valid to all religions.
Implicitly, faith is both assurance and conviction. Whenever you have to trust something you can’t see, you’re exercising faith.
Where Faith Comes into Entrepreneurship
An entrepreneur is someone who painstakingly works at something only he can see, having the hope that someday everyone will be able to see it.
When he has an idea for a product or company, it’s just that — an idea. Nobody can see or touch it. As he thinks through and develops on the idea, it becomes more detailed and refined.
Throughout the journey, it’s common he would have doubts; but he would need to use the muscle of faith to empower himself to decide and act, even when feeling less confident.
Eventually, it may become a business; and when people come to work at the company it becomes more real.
Faith With Prayer
Faith with prayer is powerful and formidable. Both are interrelated, and mutually dependable. As faith is a state of the mind, it’s usually strengthened in prayer (as well as in the scriptures.)
Analytically, when faith is blended with the vibration of a man’s thought (as in prayer), the subconscious mind (or heart) quickly picks up the vibration, translates it into its spiritual equivalent, and transmits it to God.
As the entrepreneur seeks God’s help in prayer, such a faithful prayer yields results which are inexplicable. For God Himself is the Master Entrepreneur; He created the visible from nothing, even the Cosmos!
Conclusion
Faith is the starting point of all life success. It’s the foundation of all miracles and achievements which cannot be explained by the rules of science. It’s an antidote to defeat.
Also, faith is the only agency through which the divine force (of God) can be touched, and man be helped.
