The greatest “tool” in any vocation or trade is the mind of the individual — O. David Odukoya
Power of the Mind
The mind is a very powerful ‘thing’; it influences the state of one’s personal health, image and future.
Moreover, the mind of man is great, God-like.
Understandably, King David, the greatest human king of all time, observed,
…I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.” Psalms 139:14.
That’s an absolute truth. Every human being is a complex creature; and man is the most powerful being on earth.
Surely, our Creator knows what He embedded in man for:
The LORD said, “If as one people speaking the same language they have begun to do this, then nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them.(Genesis 11:6)
Certainly, it’s only God who can stop a determined heart.
Take a look around and see what the human mind has created — aircraft, unmanned vehicles, digital devices… genetically modified materials, and human transplant!
You can imagine endlessly what might come yet through technology, arts and science.
“The mind is just like a muscle — the more you use it, the stronger it gets and the more it can expand.” Idowu Koyenikan

But, Where is the Mind?
Every living creature has two parts — the body and the soul (Genesis 2:7).
The body (flesh, made from the soil) carries the soul (“the breadth of life”). And the soul is the actual person. When a person on earth dies, the soul or spirit goes up to eternity (Ecclesiastes 12:7). Whereas, when an animal dies, its soul (and perhaps its body) goes into the soil.
Furthermore, the soul contains the mind or “heart.”
However, the brain (which is part of the flesh) is not the mind; but it’s an entrance to the mind. Moreover, the brain is inherently connected to the mind — displaying God’s wisdom.
